If Garrison falls under that, use Enrage or Sting. Garrison will simply use Warblade II when you are 60 AP (red bar) or over. Alternate Gully between Taunt and using her shield on herself, alternate Calibretto with Invigorating Mist/Healing Touch (on Gully, ofc). Use Calibretto's Invigorating Mist to keep up his Overcharge, as well as to keep Overcharge for Calibretto's heals. Key Perks to have: +Attack per Overcharge (as many as you can nab), Warblade II, +Overcharge when an enemy dies. Do this for Calibretto, Gully, and Garrison. The less actual blue mana you have, the more red overcharge you can gain. Before you start the fight, go and fight a small enemy and ditch ALL of your mana. If you have enough perks and attack power, you can even overkill them for more bonus. If you are using Garrison, you can one-shot them with Warblade. This is a weapon you can enchant with lots of Attack and never fear replacing it.ġ1) When you first go into the Lycelot Dungeon, note the boss.

+10 Overcharge per turn is no joke and vastly overpowers everything else. This is a weapon that you can use until the very end of the game. Everything else is nearly worthless especially the "chance on/when hit" enchantments.ġ0) Obtain Calibretto's Overcharged Cannon from the Shadow Coin vendor as soon as possible. You must run the dungeon at a high difficulty regardless if you want the trophy/lore rewards.ĩ) Gear enchantment bonuses are VERY small. Also note: the spawns inside dungeons are a bit random, but some things will never appear at the lower difficulties (like the lore books). There's a few rare mobs in Mana Crypts, but that's the last dungeon anyways.

By the end of NG+, you should have a full bestiary on your second dungeon trip. When you start in New Game+, you'll have to go through all the dungeons again anyways. Use shrines and food buffs (healing per turn food buff is best). The first fight in the new dungeon might be difficult, but you'll gain a ton of XP. Mythic gear can sometimes have a random enchant on it, but grinding for a Mythic piece for a specific enchant is pointless, again see point 1).Ĩ) Revisting dungeons should be avoided if you can help it. When you go to the next dungeon, you'll largely replace your gear anyways. Rarity increases the stats on the item, but you shouldn't worry too much about it. It's a good source of XP.ħ) Gear is STATIC! If you find one Nature Loop, it will be exactly the same as another Nature Loop, aside from rarity. If you are under-levelled, go to the Arena and fight. Enemies will always have a turn between your character.Ħ) The Arena is your friend. No matter how fast your characters are, they can only take one action per "turn". Unfortunately, Mythic items crafted in NG+ do not come with the random enchantment as found Mythics sometimes do.ĥ) Haste and Crit (on gear) are worthless. In the standard game, you can craft up to Epic, in NG+, you can craft up to Mythic.

But if you do want to craft, you can make higher tier items by investing more components. Don't bother with it aside from an occasional Healing Potion (maybe), Revive Potion, and Cleanse Potion. The only defense against them is cleansing abilities/potions and lots of Stamina.Ĥ) Crafting is worthless outside of the Ultimate Weapons.

Debuffs like Poison, Bleed, Curse, etc., don't care how much defense or magic defense you have. If you need more defense, see 1) above (go gain a level).ģ) Debuff damage is relatively static. Beefing up your attack is more important than beefing up defense. This is important, because the healing you do, the amount of barrier you gain, the damage you deal - IT'S ALL TIED TO ATTACK. This is why I don't recommend grinding a dungeon if you can help it.Ģ) Almost all combat modifiers are based on ATTACK. Trivial fights will yield trivial XP, including 0. Also, the XP you gain from a fight is based on level differences as well. If you can't beat a boss, come back after gaining 1 level. The damage you do and the damage you receive are all based on level differences between you and the enemy. 1) The game is HEAVILY level-based in it's calculations.
